Primer Extras: Chapter 2 – State Spending
Chapter 2 – State Spending
Our primer focuses on Nebraska’s General Fund, because this is the primary account of the state at the center of our budget debates. But federal dollars also pass through the state’s Federal Funds, and many state services are funded by user fees and dedicated taxes through the state’s Cash Funds. The graphs below expand on how these other funds are spent in Nebraska. You will also find descriptions and details for each spending category.
