OpenSky releases ‘Looking for Clarity’

After months of planning, research, writing and editing, we have proudly released OpenSky’s foundational primer, Looking for Clarity: An Overview of Nebraska Budget and Tax Policy.

This easy-to-read primer takes the confusion out of Nebraska’s laws and tax codes and distills them into a concise, manageable summary of how Nebraska collects and spends money. We also offer analysis and explanations about the strengths and weaknesses of Nebraska’s fiscal policy, including a call for tax reform.
