Nebraska lawmakers are torn on what to do about property taxes. There’s one thing Senator Mike Jacobsen says he hears from voters.
“It’s property taxes, then it’s followed by property taxes, followed by property taxes,” Jacobsen said.
He’s been part of Governor Jim Pillen’s working group that is going to propose shifting the burden away from property taxes through higher sales taxes.
