Nebraskans need to be aware of a proposed ballot initiative, “Consumption Tax LB 79,” which will change the way we pay taxes in our state. Backers of the bill want to eliminate property taxes, income taxes, inheritance tax and state sales taxes, and replace them with the EPIC Option Consumption Tax. This is not only “too good to be true” but it is “dangerous.”
