New videos feature discussion of property tax revenue cap, webinar on tax policy

In this short video, OpenSky Executive Director Renee Fry discusses the property tax-revenue cap proposed in LR 22CA and LB 408.

In the video, Renee addresses some common misunderstandings about the measures — including the misconception that the measure is a cap on local government spending. She also walks through some examples to illustrate the potential impact of the cap on local governments.
