Federal Funds Spending by Category, FY 11-12
The graph below shows how much of Nebraska’s Federal Funds goes to each spending category. Federal Funds account for more than one of every three dollars spent by the state, and are typically dedicated to these particular purposes by the federal government. The Medicaid & Children’s Health category, which is 61 percent federally funded, is the largest example. Click here to see how Federal Funds spending in these categories has changed over time.
