Nebraska’s governor said he’s 100% committed to a 40% property tax cut in 2024, but Jim Pillen is giving few details on the plan to get there.
Last January, when Pillen unveiled his historic tax-cutting plan, he was joined by several senators sponsoring the legislation.
But on Monday, as he seeks to tackle a $2 billion reduction in property taxes, only his lieutenant governor shared the spotlight.
“I’m committed. I’m all in. This problem has to be solved,” he said.
