Kathy Campbell joins OpenSky Board, Toni Roberts joins staff

We’re thrilled to announce that Kathy Campbell has joined our Board of Directors and Toni Roberts has joined our staff as our new operations manager.

Kathy joins our board after wrapping up an eight-year term in the Nebraska Legislature representing District 25 in Lincoln. She also will serve on our Legislative Alumni Advisory Committee. While in the Unicameral, Kathy was chair of the Health and Human Services Committee and she also served on several other committees including the Executive Board and the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee. In 2011, Kathy led the HHS Committee review of child welfare reform. Prior to serving in the Legislature, Kathy worked in her family business, Campbell’s Nurseries; served as executive vice president of the CEDARS Home for Children Foundation; and was a teacher in the Lincoln Public Schools and Sierra Vista (Arizona) Public School districts. Kathy is replacing her husband, Dick Campbell, who had served on our board since our inception in 2011.

Toni comes to OpenSky after working in leadership roles with Huntington Learning Center, Tabitha Health Care Services, Sylvan Learning Center and the Great Plains Girl Scout Council. Toni also was a teacher in the Mead and Yutan Public School systems.
